Professional Qualifications and Training


I hold the award of Master of Science in Integrative Psychotherapy, a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Post Diploma Certification in relationship counselling. I also hold a Post Graduate Diploma from the Institute of Linguists.

My principal training organisation, the London based Metanoia Institute, is recognised as one of the leading training bodies within the therapeutic field in the UK. It has maintained a reputation for clinical and academic excellence since its foundation in the early 1980s. Graduate and post graduate qualifications are validated by Middlesex University.

I have also undertaken specialist training in the psychophysiology of trauma and the treatment of trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.


Registration


I am registered as an Integrative Psychotherapist with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)and abide by their Code of Ethics. I am also a full Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).


Professional Experience


In addition to my private practice, I have clinical experience in various mental health settings. These include Psychological Services within the NHS and a specialist charity offering therapy to adult survivors of child abuse. I have also worked within an organisational setting addressing employee stress, a counselling agency offering help to both individuals and couples, and I have co-founded a school counselling service where I worked therapeutically with adolescents for a number of years.

I am currently an Associate Psychotherapist for the London Clinic for Dissociative Studies.
